The Great Pumpkin Farm

Fall brings with it a number of ways to celebrate the season, from pumpkins to cider, donuts, beautiful walks and of course the      foliage. What has become a tradition of family fun, The Great Pumpkin Farm in Clarence is all about enjoying the blessing of the season with friends and family. From hay mazes to a petting zoo, pie contests, bakery, fresh apples and cider and every decoration imaginable for the fall, The Great Pumpkin Farm makes sure to bring out the best of the season for everyone. Right on Main Street in Clarence, the festival makes fun every way possible out of pumpkins including Pumpkin Relay, Pumpkin Dash, Pumpkin Guts, Pumpkin bowling, activities including Juggling, Face Painting, petting zoo, Kids Craft Area. Contests include: Pie Eating - Scarecrow Making - Mummy Wrapping - Pumpkin Decorating

Becker Farms

For the past 100 years Becker Farms has harvested its own fruits and vegetables to provide fresh produce and a wide variety of value added products such as hand made pies, jams, cookies, cider, fudge and wines. In the last two years Becker Farms has adopted a field to table approach with all of its catered events serving items grown and picked for the occasion right from the farm or brought in from other local growers within a 100 mile radius of Becker Farms. Becker Farms believes that a farm fresh meal is a very basic yet integral part of maintaining a strong bond with families and friends. We believe this philosophy strengthens our communities and enriches our lives.

     Becker Farms’ goal is to provide families with the opportunity to visit the countryside and embrace what God provides us among family and friends. Its the simple things in life that make all the difference.

Blackman Farms

This quaint farm 10 miles off of Niagara Falls Blvd. in Lockport, is a must see for families of all kinds with fresh apples to pick yourself, pumpkins of all shapes, sizes and varieties, acres of fresh apples and farm animals to amuse the children. A classic farm feel, Blackman Farms was established in 1852 and is now in its 6th generation of ownership. The farm is open 7 days a week 9-6 and produces some of the freshest fruit around including pick your own apples in a variety of kinds including Baldwin, Cortland, Crispin, Empire, Granny Smith and Macintosh, Macoun, Northern Spy, Red Delicious, Rhode Island Greening, Yellow Delicious.

Pumpkinville

Pumpkinville enjoys the claim of being the oldest original pumpkin farm in New York State. In fact, it might be the oldest continuously operated pumpkin farm in the United States. Pumpkinville is a 200 acre farm nestled in the hills of Western New York near Ellicottville and owned by the Pawlowski family - Dan and Diane and their children, Jim and Lisa.

The Pumpkinville fall village, cider mill and entertainment portion spans 25 acres and includes the corn maze and Pick Your Own Pumpkin Patch.

     The pumpkins, squash, gourds and Indian corn and other fall items are grown on the farm specifically for visitors. Each family member has combined their creativity and hard work and have grown Pumpkinville into one of the top fall tourism sites in Western New York. They truly take great pride in great entertainment, fantastic autumn scenery, good food and a beautiful farm harvest.!
